Restaurants & Bars

Simplicity and individuality are at the heart of Jumby’s cuisine. Executive Chef Alex Chen creates signature dishes and an array of combinations that guests simply must experience. His fusion of East and West inspires, with fresh and elegantly understated flavors.

The Jumby Bay Veranda

At the island’s heart lies Jumby Bay Veranda, steps from the water, serving breakfast, lunch, and dinner daily. Breakfast includes a la carte specialties and continental selection. Lunch and dinner feature seaside Italian trattoria dishes, including homemade pastas like gnocchi and tagliatelle, and fresh seafood and meat with Jumby Bay Farm’s own herbs and produce. This open-air restaurant offers refined culinary experience blending Italian passion and island rhythm.

The Estate House

The Estate House, Caribbean’s top fine-dining spot, mixes classic and modern island flavors, drawing on West Indies’ culinary traditions. The circa 1830 plantation house, once island’s centerpiece, features main restaurant, 1830 Bar, three private dining rooms, and wine room inspired by rich history. Combining traditional colonial home impressions with contemporary perspective, its design embodies modern Colonial spirit. Curated local artwork, vintage maps adorn walls, while sophisticated tableware offers refined dining experience. It’s not just dinner; it’s an experience!

The Pool Grille

Set beside the oceanfront infinity pool overlooking the Caribbean Sea, the Pool Grille is ideal for waterfront dining. It serves casual bistro fare for lunch, including salads, sandwiches, and grilled seafood. Guests can also enjoy house snacks, cocktails, smoothies, and fresh fruit juices. Dining options include shaded canopy seating or ordering from loungers.

Jumby Bay Island x Casamigos

The new place to be on the island is the limited-edition Casmamigos Margarita Beach Shack pop-up with cocktails specially curated for the resort.

Jumby Bay’s bartenders have been fully trained by Casamigos mixologists to serve up delicious cocktails, including the Casa Margarita and La Piña. Located in the vibrant center of the resort on Jumby Bay Beach, the beach bar embodies both brands’ ethos of bringing friends together in a fun and relaxed way with branded umbrellas, surfboards and glassware, creating a colourful backdrop and photo moment.

The Jumby Bay Bar and Lounge

Often the first stop for many guests of Jumby Bay Island, and the final place to share a drink before returning to the rest of the world, The Jumby Bay Bar & Lounge, is the chic social hub of the island.

Just steps from the sand, The Jumby Bay Bar & Lounge offers the perfect location for beach side cocktails throughout the day, or an after-dinner nightcap. Small plates, snacks, and scrumptious cocktails are served here daily, complete with charming West Indian smiles from the bartender.

1830 Bar

Upon arrival, guests enter colonial elegance at 1830 bar. Situated in the old plantation house, it retains historical elements and features a rich green color palette inspired by the island landscape. Whimsical palm murals, adorning the walls for over thirty years, are restored. Furniture and fixtures use traditional materials like teak and rattan, echoing past travelers’ style. Guests can relax in the courtyard, an outdoor lounge space amidst tropical plants and a “Turk’s head” cactus fountain carved by a local artisan. Cocktails at 1830 are refreshing, with local fruits, honey, and West Indian spices, adding a modern twist to classic drinks.

Beach Chic Bar

Set directly on the sands of Jumby Bay Beach, and surrounded by a garden of towering palm trees, hibiscus and wild orchids, the Beach Bar is a traditional open bungalow with a thatched bohio that is the center of beach service. Cocktails, cold water and fresh towels are available. A raised hand brings a frosty glass of water, delicious daiquiri or tray bearing a selection of freshly made fruit sorbets, scrumptious ice-cream sandwiches or frappuccino’s. Private dinners can be arranged for an intimate gathering, or a small group on the beach. Dedicated musical entertainment can be provided.
