Ladera

Ladera is the only resort on the island of St Lucia to sit within the UNESCO World Heritage site of the Piton Mountains. Perched in the mountains high above the sea, Ladera provides unmatched views of the Piton Mountains, the Caribbean Sea, and the tropical landscape in-between.

Rooms/Villas

The natural environment is the biggest attraction at Ladera. Each of the villas and suites benefits from an open fourth wall offering a window into the incredible views while affording you privacy and safety, they also feature a private heated or non-heated plunge pool – perfect for those morning dips with your coffee.

The resort also offers its guests a nightly turn down service, complimentary WiFi, tea and coffee making facilities, robes, iron and ironing board, hair dryer, safe and Ladera’s ‘Necessaire Kit’ containing binoculars, eye mask, slippers and a star chart should you wish to do a spot of star gazing during a particularly clear night.

Gros Piton Suite – These suites feature a non-heated plunge pool, a sitting area and spectacular mountain and sea views. The queen sized bed accommodates 2 guests.

Rainbow Suite – An ideal open-air plunge pool suite perched high on the hillside. Featuring a spacious open-plan bedroom with queen bed and sitting area with stunning views. Accommodates 2 guests.

Hilltop Dream Suite – There is a king size four poster bed, a heated pool with a wooden swing for two and a stocked minibar.  They sleep up to 2 people.

Heritage Suite – The accommodation features two levels,  with an open air living space and king bed. Sleeps up to 2.

The Suites & Villa at Paradise Ridge – Built using locally sourced materials with furnishings produced onsite by skilled craftsmen. They feature an open-air bedroom with king size four poster bed, open sitting area, and a swimming pool. Additionally, a stocked minibar, spacious bathrooms with showers complete with premium fixtures and bath products, and personal butler service. Luxury private transfers are also complimentary.

The Owner’s Cottage – The great room at the centre features vaulted ceilings and a table for 10. Covered verandahs can be accessed on 3 sides through tall louvered doors.  The open-plan kitchen is complete with breakfast bar and modern appliances. Outside, a fully-equipped pool deck straddles the spectacular 40x12ft infinity pool perched on the edge of the cliff.  The two bedrooms are split between the floors and each has a king size four poster bed, walk-in closet, wet bar, small sitting area and full en-suite bathroom.  The cottage sleeps up to 5 people.

La Petite Fleur – The master bedroom features a queen size four poster bed and the bathroom features a lovely outdoor bathtub.  Opening out onto a spacious verandah, guests are greeted by a plunge pool and spectacular views.  There is also the option for alfresco dining.  The cottage sleeps up to 2 people.

Dining

Dasheene – Hotel guests and locals alike come to enjoy the exciting award-winning menu and the spectacular views at the resort’s signature restaurant.

The Bar – Part of the main restaurant it shares the same spectacular views and is the perfect spot to enjoy a pre-dinner cocktail or relax and enjoy some great love music.

In-Room Dining – Take the culinary adventure indoors with private, in suite dining services.

The Spa at Ladera features several treatment rooms with incredible views. Great for preparing for a full day, or to unwind afterwards. Hot soaking tubs are available for guest use in the lovely spa  gardens. Guests in need of a spa treatment can also reserve certain services in the comfort of their suite.

For Kids

Ladera’s rugged location makes it unsuitable for small children. Children can only be accommodated in the two bedroom Owner’s Cottage – which sleeps up to 5 people.  All of the other suites are only suitable for 2 adults.  Unfortunately there are no children’s programs on offer at the resort.

Weddings

Ladera can be the ideal destination for an unforgettable wedding. The incredible scenery, romantic accommodations, and delicious cuisine all make for a perfect setting. The resort wedding coordinator will be happy to craft the perfect ceremony.
