Bamboo framed doors reminiscent of a Mongolian temple tempt you inside, where you will be embraced by the splendour of a tropical paradise, with Japanese water features, colourful koi carp and the sound of birds and frogs.  Teak walkways connect the pond and extensive gardens and beckon you further into the property, where you can enjoy gorgeous views out over the Caribbean Sea.

Nearby there is a wealth of island sights and sounds to enjoy.  The choice of two beaches means you can swim and snorkel at one and enjoy water sports on the other.  There is a tennis court in a shaded park area across the road, a pulsating nightlife, shopping, rustic eateries and fine restaurants and a number of bars.

Back in the villa there are delicious meals to be had all prepared by the celebrated chef, and flexibility in accommodation is afforded by the option to rent out neighbouring Blue Point together with Greensleeves if required, meaning a large number of guests can be housed on the estate for the ultimate indulgent holiday in the sun.

Please note that smoking is not permitted indoors.

Bedrooms

The 8 main bedrooms all offer guests private terraces and spacious modern en-suite bathrooms, as well as air conditioning.  Carved teak windows and doors open out onto the stunning views beyond and offset the cool white walls.  There is a 9th bedroom (the ocean suite) available on request.

Four of the bedrooms have king size beds, one has a queen size and the remaining 4 have two twin beds.  The 9th Ocean Suite has a king size bed as well.

The 10 en-suite bathrooms are finished in marble, with the children’s bathrooms fitted with child-size baths, toilets and sinks.  The poolroom bathroom has double showers, and there is a powder room adjoining the gym and sitting room.

Communal Areas

To enable the adults to have some time to themselves, there is a wing dedicated to the children’s bedrooms with its own dedicated adjoining nanny accommodation.  To keep the little ones entertained there is a jungle gym, and you will also find a separate kitchen and lounge.

Elsewhere the amenities are world-class, more like a resort hotel than a villa, with the large freeform pool boasting a mini island and swim-up bar, and even a cinema room that is packed with technology, air conditioning and even supplies the popcorn.

There is a gym on site too as well as table tennis, iPad minis in the bedrooms, a selection of water toys (sailboat, paddle boards and kayaks) and office equipment should you need to mix business with pleasure.

Staff

An extensive staff is overseen by an efficient property manager, and they will ensure your every need is met – with meet-and-greet services at the airport, in-house spa treatments and concierge services available.

There is a butler, maid, housekeeper, laundress, gardener, night watchman and an award-winning chef, as well as general maintenance personnel.

Please note that our housekeepers are not trained nannies and should not be expected to look after and/or babysit infants and children. If you do make babysitting arrangements with the staff, please be advised this is at your own risk.

The levy on accommodation, collected in resort, will cost between US$2.50 (£1.90) and $17.50 (£14.50 for 5* Hotels) per room per night until VAT doubles to 15% in 2020 as set by Prime Minister of Barbados Mia Mottley.
