There is also a weekly wood carving demonstration at the bar by one of the resident craftsmen, and a Saturday morning tour around the markets in Soufriere followed by an expert cooking demonstration.
Ladera is a great base for exploring the rest of the island; with a particular focus on the south with its unspoilt rainforest and access to the coastal waters you can really appreciate the unique Caribbean culture and history. From the waves to the mountains, you can enjoy boat tours, horseback riding, Piton hikes and climbs, rainforest tours, sailing and snorkelling, shopping trips and ziplining to name but a few things.
