Overview of Strawberry Hill
Nestled high up in the Blue Mountains above Kingston, Strawberry Hill is simplicity and luxury combined. Each cottage is unique and rests in its own spot on the hillside with a balcony that allows you to drink in the stunning surroundings. The resort comprises of a lovely wood-panelled bar from which to enjoy a selection of delicious cocktails, and a restaurant on the veranda where you can savour the lights of Kingston far below, mingled with candles and starlight above.
An expansive and decidedly inviting infinity edge pool is the centrepiece of the main common areas, from views out all around you of the surrounding hillsides, lush verdant greenery and the sparkling blue Caribbean Sea in the distance.
Rising trade winds condense as they rise over the hillside, lending it a distinctive eco-system and the famous blue hue as the rains fall on the highest peaks of the Blue Mountains. A wide range of flowers and plant life thrives in the gardens for you to enjoy, while the ever-changing cloud formations drift over the mountains.

There are twelve Georgian-style cottages at Strawberry Hill. All of the accommodations comprise a private balcony overlooking the mountains or down to Kingston, four-poster beds with netting, French doors and louvered windows as well as Caribbean furniture. There are luxury linens and fabrics, spacious bathrooms with robes, deep set tubs and signature bath products. There is also a safe and complimentary WiFi throughout.
Studio Suite
Spacious and intimate, with a cooling breeze blowing through. These 400 sqft rooms have a queen size bed and balcony looking down over the lights of Kingston far below. Sleeping up to 3 adults or 2 and a crib on request.
Studio Cottage
These 480 sqft cottages are high up in the trees and have stunning views out over the hills and Kingston. They have a kitchenette and a king size bed in which to relax and unwind, with the light shining through the intricate fretwork. Sleeping up to 3 adults or 2 and a crib on request.
One-Bedroom Villa
The perfect honeymoon suite, this expansive 1500 sqft villa welcomes you in to its lovely open arms, with the bedroom and living area opening onto a spacious wraparound veranda, with flowers all around and stunning views below.. Your own private garden is home to a gazebo, and there is also an outdoor shower and daybed. Sleeping up to 4 adults or 3 and a crib on request.
Two-Bedroom Cottage
A beautiful two-storey cottage set high on the resort. The two bedrooms have a queen size bed and two singles, making it perfect for families travelling or friends. There is a dedicated kitchenette and an array of home comforts. Two verandas offer perfect views of the rising and setting sun. Sleeping up to 7 adults with or 6 with space for a crib on request.
Two-Bedroom Villa
Grand and elegant, this 3000 sqft villa is set over multiple floors, each with its own wraparound style veranda and hammock, offering spectacular views in all directions. Vaulted ceilings in the living areas give it extra space, with a living room, dining room and full kitchen for your use. Restaurants & Bars at Strawberry Hill
The restaurant at Strawberry Hill offers a taste of historically inspired Jamaican cuisine. Favourites get a new twist and everything can be enjoyed on a spacious wraparound veranda where you can enjoy a vast number of accompanying cocktails and drinks, finished off with a Blue Mountain coffee – grown less than a mile away.
Sunday lunch has become a tradition here and a big hit for locals, visiting tourists and of course resident guests at the hotel. The restaurant is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner daily.
The bar is open from 11am – 11pm and is the social hub of Strawberry Hill. Famous mixed drinks and cocktails are on offer. There is even a piano and an open fireplace to soothe and keep you warm on the cooler evenings in the mountains.
There is also private and in-room dining available if you would prefer something a bit more private and special.
