Tom Tom is a stunning and contemporary Balinese-style villa completed in 2007. Designed by Londoin-based architect Harper Downie, the property is set on a half acre plot of land in the secure and gated Calijanda Estate just opposite Royal Westmoreland, and a simple 5 minute drive from Holetown with its wealth of restaurants, shops and beaches.
Concierge services can arrange water sports at the nearby Fairmont Royal Pavilion beach facility, where guests at the villa can enjoy privileged access, as well as a few rounds of golf at the Royal Westmoreland golf course.
The combination of spacious and comfortable interiors, clean minimalist lines, stunning views out over the surroundings from the deck and patio area and a top-class staff make a holiday at Tom Tom definitely one to remember for years to come.
Please note children are welcome as long as they are supervised, and smoking is not permitted indoors.
Bedrooms
The five luxurious and spacious bedrooms are all air conditioned and have en-suite facilities with either inside/outside baths and showers, or showers only.
The opulent master bedroom is situated upstairs and has floor to ceiling windows offering 180 degree views of the surrounding landscape and the Sparkling Caribbean Sea beyond. There is a study/sitting room as well as the large en-suite.
Downstairs the remaining four bedrooms, with two featuring four-poster beds and outdoor tubs in private tropical courtyards, another has its own intimate terrace area and one features twin beds. All other bedrooms have king size beds.
Communal Areas
The property offers spacious entertainment areas all with a distinctive Indonesian style. Marble, granite, limestone and unique stone carvings combine to create a beautiful living space. A large reception room leads out onto a terrace overlooking the stunning 20m infinity edge pool, with the ocean beckoning beyond. A custom kitchen features everything you could possible want, and the adjacent breakfast area opens out onto a poolside dining area.
Hidden away is a cosy media room where you can enjoy a good book in peace or watch a movie in comfort. The formal dining room is perfect for evening gatherings, after which you can step out onto the pool decking that is transformed into something truly special with soft lighting – perfect for cocktails, a midnight swim or admiring the endless blanket of stars above. There is even a BBQ grill on the terrace for more casual dining options.
Staff
The staff are all highly rated and receive great reviews from guests who stay at Tom Tom. There are two housekeepers to ensure your stay is comfortable and the property is kept clean and tidy, while the cook will prepare three meals a day at your leisure.
Please note that our housekeepers are not trained nannies and should not be expected to look after and/or babysit infants and children. If you do make babysitting arrangements with the staff, please be advised this is at your own risk.
The levy on accommodation, collected in resort, will cost between US$2.50 (£1.90) and $17.50 (£14.50 for 5* Hotels) per room per night until VAT doubles to 15% in 2020 as set by Prime Minister of Barbados Mia Mottley.
